WHAT: Texas’ own undefeated rising star Omar Figueroa of Weslaco, who will face former world champion Antonio DeMarco in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC from the newly renovated AT&T Center in San Antonio, will host a special media luncheon officially announce his December 12 primetime showdown.

In his last appearance at AT&T Center, Figueroa was victorious in a 2013 “Fight of the Year” candidate against Nihito Arakawa that electrified the crowd in San Antonio.

FACTS: The final primetime PBC on NBC primetime telecast of the year will take place Saturday, Dec. 12 and will be headlined by Figueroa vs DeMarco in a 12-round super lightweight showdown. In a battle of undefeated American heavyweights, 2012 U.S. Olympian Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale faces “Prince” Charles Martin in a 10-round contest, plus hard-hitting Mexican-American Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola taking on Travis “My Time” Kauffman in 10-rounds of action. The fight is promoted by Leija Battah Promotions and is sponsored by Corona.

The PBC on NBC primetime coverage begins at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT.
