Denver Cuello Wins WBC Silver minimumweight title

Denver Cuello from Philippines, demonstrated his power sending twice to the canvas to WBC 1 ranked in straw weight list, mexican Ganigan Lopez, and finally put out of action in less than six minutes. The Asian boxer power put Lopez out of action, one minute before the second assault ended. Two left uppercuts and a long right hand sent the Mexican to the canvas bad. Referee Frank Garza applied the protection account and after ten seconds Lopez could not get up, the knockout was at 2 minutes 37 seconds of the second round. With this result, Denver Cuello (29-4, 14 KOs) won the right to challenge Japan’s Kazuto Ioka for the WBC strawweight world title. And Ganigan Lopez fell to 28-5, 13 ko’s.
