Undefeated featherweight standout Abraham “Chamaco” Lopez (18-0-1, 13 KOs) has replaced previously announced main event fighter Julian “El Camaron” Ramirez as the main event on the August 6 edition of LA FIGHT CLUB on FOX Deportes.

Ramirez, had to withdraw from the event due to illness. This marks Lopez’ first headlining event and his first appearance on the fan-favorite series LA FIGHT CLUB,when he defends his undefeated record in a 10-round featherweight bout against Jorge “King” Diaz (18-3-1) of New Burnswick, New Jersey. The August 6 installment of the popular series will also feature the professional debuts of three recently signed Golden Boy Promotions fighters: Hector Tanajara, Jonathan Navarro, and Joshua Franco.

In the co-main event, East Los Angeles native, Roy “Pitbull” Tapia (10-0-2, 5 KOs) will return to LA FIGHT CLUB in a televised eight-round super bantamweight fight againstJuan “Perla Negra” Hernandez (18-5-1, 9 KOs)of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. San Antonio, Texas’, Hector “El Finito” Tanajara will participate in a four-round super featherweight televised bout and Jonathan Navarro, of East Los Angeles is scheduled for a four-round lightweight bout opening up the FOX Deportes telecast. In the non-televised portion of the night, Francisco Ochoa (1-0) of Los Angeles will participate in a four-round super featherweight brawl and Pablo Rubio (1-0, 1 KO) of East Los Angeles will face new fighter Martin Regalado of Wilmington, Calif. in a four-round bantamweight bout. Opening up the night in a four-round super flyweight bout, Joshua Franco, also from San Antonio, Texas, will take on Julio Rodriguez (0-1) of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

The FOX Deportes broadcast will air live, Thursday, August 6 at 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT.
